with encouragement from spiderman, i joined team livestrong. you know the fund-raising group fighting cancer with the help of some bike racer.

i don't usually talk about it, but in my family you are either a cancer survivor or a cancer not-a-survivor. my mother once told me that if you live long enough in our family you'll die of cancer. and that's been the case. my siblings and i are now getting to the age where we'll probably start to see the big C in us.

now to get back on the trainer, so i can pass that supposed bike racer that i'll be riding with.
